This is a great buy for the money! I have no complaints at all.
Absolutely the best tripod in its price range.

great tripod. i'm 6 feet one...so this tripod supersedes my expectations. yes, it's a bit heavy, and the carry bag it comes with is a bit flimsy, but that's a little nitpicking....which we all do.i certainly recommend this tripod to others

4.) Nice Tripod

Other then simply needing a second tripod, I bought this tripod because of the 72'' length. I'm 5'9 and spend most of my days ducking under things or craning down, and this tripod is perfect because I don't have to do either.
The grip handle in between the legs made of hard plastic, is nice and sturdy for picking the unit up on the move.
The head is able to snap off and then lock back into place via a lever on the back.
The three legs, the tops of which are encased in a non slip padding, extend for the additional tripod height, and the head/platform extends upwards via a crank on the side.
There is a small water level on one of the legs that indicates when the three legs are, well, level.
You can swivel the platform around a full 360 as well as tilt it up or down.
The carrying case is plain and is not padded, though it does feature an adjustable strap.
The one downfall which doesn't really bother me, is that when you collapse the tripod, it is rather large. Its not likely to fit into any sort of bag you may be carrying other then the tripod carrying case it comes with. Other then that, I'd say its a pretty good tripod which if I'm not mistaken, is actually featured in the movie "Paranormal Activity."
5.) Good sturdy tripod

It's a great tripod. I'm 5'10" and I don't need to extend the 3rd leg extension
which make the tripod really sturdy. It's just a bit long when folded (26 inches).
6.) Just what I was looking for

I bought this tripod for personal use with my Nikon D3000. My husband and I wanted to be able to take pictures in low light conditions, do group shots, ect. The height of the tripod makes it comfortable for both my 6'1" husband and myself (5'6") to use. It's easy to setup and adjust, and though a little long when folded up still very light weight. Especially with the great low price, I would definitely recommend!

9.) Really Good Tripod At This Price

I was a little bit skeptical when I ordered this tripod because I believe quality always comes with a hefty price tag. This tripod has surprised me since day 1 though. This is my first tripod. I looked at lot of expensive ones before deciding on this one thinking that if it turns to be bad, at least I won't be losing too much money.
I have only had it for about two weeks. But I have not found any issues with this tripod as yet. It was delivered within 2 days of ordering. It arrived in a good condition. It is sturdy and strong enough to support my 5 pound D90 camera. It is not very heavy and so easy to carry around. The only thing I found a bit problematic was when attaching the camera in vertical position, I had to make sure that camera was tightly screwed to the mount; otherwise it kept rotating. Apart from that great tripod at this price. It has collapsible legs, two bubble levels and comes with a carrying case. Will definitely recommend it as a first tripod for beginners.
10.) JUNK

I have been doing photography for 4o years and I purchased this tripod to use with my Nikon D-5000 figuring it would be lighter then the one I already have. I am TOTALY DISAPOINTED in this piece of crap. This tripod does NOT come close to being "heavy duty" or "Professional", it is so flemsy I refuse to mount my D-5000 on it. The whole thing twist when setup, the head is weak plastic and you can not put a good head on it because its NOT standard. The others who have reviewed this piece of crap must work for the swindlers who sold this, Its not worth $5 MUCH less the $30 it cost me to get it here. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TRIPOD, ITS JUNK!
11.) Bad crank
Reviewed by: kevin canini

The crank handle to raise and lower the unit broke the day I got it. I assume it's from low quality plastic. The company that sold it to me only handles customer service issues online, and since I sent a message to them about it about three weeks ago, and still have not received correspondence. I fear the company (DB Roth) has poor customer service. I am also afraid they may be stalling until the return policy expires for this unit. I'm sure that usually these products are not bad but this one was a giant flop with very poor customer service. Thumbs down.
